The 5th edition of the HPLC Phytoplankton Pigments Intercomparisons (HIP) Workshop takes place on 3-4 December 2024 in a hybrid format. Implementation and Enforcement: Presentation of Annual Report Implementation and Enforcement: Presentation of Annual Report The European Commission is hosting a meeting to present the 4th consolidated annual report on the Implementation and Enforcement of EU Trade Policy. The meeting will be led by Chief Trade Enforcement Officer (CTEO) Mr. Denis Redonnet, who will discuss the main activities carried out in 2023 and early 2024. The report will highlight achievements and challenges in promoting trade agreements and addressing market access barriers. The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) are organizing an info day on December 17-18, 2024. This event will present the key features and award criteria of the upcoming Innovation Fund 2024 Call (IF24 Call) and the Innovation Fund 2024 Battery call (IF24 Battery). The IF24 Call has allocated €2.4 billion for projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in sectors such as cleantech manufacturing, maritime, renewables, energy storage, and energy-intensive industries. The IF24 Battery Call has designated €1 billion for electric-vehicle battery cell manufacturing projects. The application window for both calls will remain open until April 2025. 8th Sustainable and Impact Investments International Conference The 8th edition of the Sustainable and Impact Investments International Conference will be held on January 14th and 15th, 2025, at the Quinn School of Business at University College Dublin in Ireland.
