The session will focus on the Dialogue with Civil Society on Trade and Sustainable Development under the Trade Agreement between the European Union and its Member States and Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. On 10 December 2024, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) will host an Info Day. This event will present the key features and award criteria of the upcoming Innovation Fund 2024 Auction (IF24 Auction) and share best practices from the IF23 Auction. The IF24 Auction will open on 3 December and will award €1.2 billion to producers of hydrogen categorized as Renewable Fuel of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) located in the European Economic Area (EEA). The auction is a key element of the European Hydrogen Bank.

The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) are organizing an info day on December 17-18, 2024. This event will present the key features and award criteria of the upcoming Innovation Fund 2024 Call (IF24 Call) and the Innovation Fund 2024 Battery call (IF24 Battery). The IF24 Call has allocated €2.4 billion for projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in sectors such as cleantech manufacturing, maritime, renewables, energy storage, and energy-intensive industries. The IF24 Battery Call has designated €1 billion for electric-vehicle battery cell manufacturing projects. The application window for both calls will remain open until April 2025.
