Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on New Innovation Fund Auction
The first stakeholder consultation workshop on the design of a new auction for industrial process heat decarbonisation under the Innovation Fund is scheduled for 2025. The workshop will take place on 16 April 2025 from 09:00 to 12:00 (CEST) in Brussels, Belgium.

We are glad to invite you to this workshop, which will support projects across various economic sectors that decarbonize industrial process heat through innovative technologies such as heat pumps, electric boilers, furnaces, induction, resistance, or plasma heating.
The budget of up to EUR 1 billion will be allocated through fixed-premium auctions. During the workshop, first ideas for the auction scope and design will be presented and discussed with stakeholders. A discussion paper will be circulated before the event to help structure the conversation on the day.

In-person places for the workshop will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Online participation is unlimited upon registration, and the event will be recorded. Registrations for in-person participation will close once the room capacity has been reached, while registration for online participation will stay open until 15 April .
