The conference will present the potential economic benefits of the new European Union system for protection of geographical indications for craft and industrial products, as well as the legal and practical issues.

We would like to gather national and international experts in the field of geographical indications from key institutions to present the new European Union system for geographical indications protection.

Likewise, producers of various traditional products will be given the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on the opportunities and challenges at the national and the Union level.
