On 22 May 2024, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) will organise a technical workshop to launch a targeted consultation on macroprudential policies for non-bank financial intermediaries.The event follows the adoption in January 2024 of the Commission report on the macroprudential review for credit institutions, the systemic risks and vulnerabilities of NBFI, and the interconnectedness with the banking sector.
