CEF Energy, Brussels launches fourth call for cross-border renewable energy projects CB RES

The CINEA Agency has published, on behalf of the European Commission, the fourth call for the selection of cross-border renewable energy projects classified as CB RES, the program created in 2021 under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). There is time until January 7, 2025, to participate.

CEF Energy Infrastructure 2024: 850mln for Cross-Border Projects

The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency - CINEA indeed has the mission to support stakeholders in the implementation of the Green Deal, implementing parts of the EU funding programs related to transport, energy, and climate action, including the CEF Energy. This program, in addition to contributing to the development of trans-European energy networks, has also been financing cross-border renewable energy production projects since 2021, which involve cooperation between EU member states, but also between member states and non-EU countries.
