Interreg NEXT MED 2021-2027

The aim of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme 2021-2027 is to protect and promote the rights and values enshrined in the EU Treaties, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and applicable international human rights conventions, in particular by supporting civil society organisations and other stakeholders operating at local, regional, national and transnational levels and encouraging civic and democratic participation, in order to support and further develop open, rights-based, democratic, equitable and inclusive societies that are founded on the rule of law.

The Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund - AMIF was created to foster the efficient management of migration flows and to encourage the implementation, strengthening, and development of a unified EU approach to migration, with a 9.882 billion euro budget for the 2021-2027 period The Fund aims to boost national capacities further improve migration management procedures, and enhance solidarity and responsibility sharing between Member States, particularly through emergency assistance and the relocation mechanism.

The Justice Programme offers financial support for judicial collaboration in civil and criminal affairs, ensuring citizens and businesses have efficient access to justice. It aids in advancing a European area of justice founded on the principles of the rule of law, encompassing an independent and impartial judiciary, mutual recognition, trust, and judicial cooperation.

The European Defence Fund encourages and facilitates collaborative, cross-border research and development within the defense sector. It aims to bolster the EU's technological advantage, enhance capabilities crucial for the Union's strategic autonomy and resilience, and safeguard its citizens and Member States.

The European Solidarity Corps is an EU program supporting young individuals engaging in various solidarity efforts, spanning from aiding the disadvantaged to humanitarian and environmental actions across the EU and beyond. It provides young people aged 18 to 30 (for societal challenges) and 18 to 35 (for humanitarian aid) with an opportunity to contribute to society, gain valuable experience, and develop skills, while also involving organizations focused on solidarity activities.

The LIFE programme for the period 2021-2027 (French acronym for The Financial Instrument for the Environment) supports projects to protect the environment and climate within the European Union. Launched in 1992, the next 7 years' programme has been projected in line with the international agreements and with the goals of the European Green Deal.

The Internal Security Fund 2021-2027 (ISF) intends to guarantee a common area of ​​security, freedom and justice within the European borders.

The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme is funded by the European Commission and operates throughout the participating countries through local contact centres active in the field of business support (such as Chambers of Commerce, start-up business support centres or business incubators). Their activities are coordinated at the European level by the Programme Support Office.

The EU4Health programme was adopted as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to reinforce crisis preparedness in the EU. The pandemic highlighted the fragility of national health systems. The EU4Health programme will bring a contribution to the long-term health challenges by building stronger, more resilient and more accessible health systems.

The aim of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for the period 2021-2027 is to strengthen investment in European infrastructure networks for the transport, energy and digital sectors.

The Digital Europe programme for the period 2021-2027 aims to increase and maximise the benefits of digital transformation for all EU citizens, public administrations and businesses. Strategic funds will be invested in supporting projects in five key areas: supercomputing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, and ensuring a wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society.

The Single Market Program 2021-2027 aims to improve the functioning of the European internal market, the competitiveness and sustainability of companies (in particular SMEs), standardization, market surveillance, consumer protection, management expenditure on plants, animals, food and feed.

The Neighborhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI - Global Europe) aims to promote the Union's core values, principles and interests around the world in order to pursue the objectives and principles of EU external action. NDICI also includes the European Fund for Sustainable Development Plus (EFSD+) and the External Action Guarantee for the MFF period 2021-2027.

Horizon Europe 2021-2027 is the Ninth Framework Program for Research and Innovation for the seven-year period 2021-27. The program supports research, development and innovation activities in Europe, with the aim of mobilizing investment and contributing to EU growth, in line with the dual green and digital transition.

Erasmus+ 2021-2027 is the EU's programme aiming at supporting “through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in the field of education, training, youth and sport in Europe and beyond” and playing a crucial role in promoting sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, driving innovation and strengthening European identity and active citizenship.

The Creative Europe 2021-2027 program aims to promote European cultural, linguistic diversity and cultural heritage by strengthening the competitiveness and economic potential of the cultural and creative sectors, in particular the audiovisual sector.

The European Commission adopted the annual work programme of the EU 4 Health, born after the Covid-19 pandemic, which aims to reinforce the European Member States' healthcare systems.

The European Space Programme aims to promote an innovative and competitive European space sector, upstream and downstream, to strengthen the Union's space ecosystem and enhance its role as a global player in the sector.

The EU Regulation 2021/1056 of the European Parliament and the EU Council of 24 June 2021 established the Just Transition Fund. The JTF contributes to the single specific objective of enabling regions and individuals to address the social, employment, economic and environmental impacts of the transition to the Union's 2030 energy and climate goals and a climate-neutral economy by 2050, based on the Paris Agreement.
