European defence industrial development programme: 2019 calls for proposals

The EDIDP is an industrial development programme, established by Regulation (EU) 2018/1092, which is implemented through annual calls for proposals in 2019 and 2020. The calls are based on a two-year work programme defined in close cooperation with Member States and adopted by the Commission on 19 March 2019. The programme, with a financial envelope of €500 million will co-finance the joint development of defence products and technologies.
