Horizon Europe: European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership - EDCTP3 - calls 2022

2022 call for proposals of the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) (HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2022-01) The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP3) funds clinical research to accelerate the development of new or improved drugs, vaccines, microbicides and diagnostics against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as well as other poverty-related infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on phase II and III clinical trials. Eligible countries According to Article 110 of the Council Regulation (EU) 2021/2085, funding from the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking is restricted to legal entities established in Member States or associated countries or in the constituent states of the EDCTP Association. Constituent states of the EDCTP Association that are not Member States or associated countries are: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, Zambia. A number of non-EU/non-Associated Countries that are not automatically eligible for funding have made specific provisions for making funding available for their participants in Horizon Europe projects.
