The assignment includes assistance for analysis of national responses to EU ETS Directive.

The invitation to tender regards support activities to DG Climate Action in maintaining the effective implementation of Article 21 of the EU ETS Directive.
Particular focus is required on the review of the national Article 21 reports which are submitted annually by the EU 28 Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway on their application of the Directive requirements.

The service is scheduled to cover national reports submitted in 2017 and 2018.
The principal outputs each year will be:
- detailed technical review of the national reports,
- additional quality checking of the national submissions,
- recommendation of necessary improvements.
The call for tenders has no lots and it's an open procedure. The time limit for receipt of tenders is June 8, 2017.
