The EUSO convenes its 4th Stakeholder Forum, an annual event organised by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) to engage with the soil community, including policy makers, scientists, local actors, civil society representatives, and citizens. The forum will take place online and consists of two parts: the 2nd Young Soil Researchers Forum from 14-15 October 2024 and the 4th EUSO Stakeholders Forum from 21-23 October 2024.

This event will focus on the importance of healthy soils for climate neutrality, biodiversity, and food security, addressing soil degradation processes affecting over 60% of EU soils. Key topics include the Soil Monitoring Law, the State of Soils in Europe report, global soil health policies, nutrient management, and soil literacy.
