The 10th edition of the Just Transition Platform Conference will take place in Brussels and online from 15-17 October 2024. Co-hosted by DG REGIO and DG ENER, the event aims to facilitate discussions on the just transition process among stakeholders from various sectors, including national, local, and regional authorities, as well as representatives from the European Commission.

The conference will feature core sessions on 15 and 16 October, focusing on resources and examples of just transition, along with an exhibition of Just Transition Mechanism (JTM) projects. Specific topics will include advisory tools for Just Transition regions, competitiveness, the Public Sector Loan Facility, female entrepreneurship in transitioning regions, and site rehabilitation post-coal phase-out.

On 17 October, a session organized by the Committee of Regions will focus on Multi-Level Dialogue on Just Transition. Registration is required by 24 September 2024 for in-person attendance, while online participation remains open.
