The Creative Europe program is the European Commission's main tool to support the cultural and creative ecosystem.

With a total budget of €2.4 billion for the 2021-2027 period, the program funds a wide range of interventions in various fields, from cinema to literature, and is divided into three strands: MEDIA supporting the audiovisual industry; CULTURE supporting other creative and cultural sectors; and Cross-sectoral, addressing common challenges and opportunities in the cultural and creative sectors, including audiovisual.
