The Clean Aviation Partnership has announced the 2025 call for innovative projects aimed at decarbonizing the aviation sector, with a budget of €380 million. Applications open on March 27, 2025.

The 2025 call, announced last December, has now been published by the Clean Aviation Partnership, one of the post-2020 partnerships of Horizon Europe, the EU's framework program for research and innovation for the period 2021-2027, which - with its €95.5 billion - also supports various public-private partnerships, such as the one for clean aviation.

Although the budget provided by Brussels for the call amounts to €380 million, the Commission intends for the total funding granted to achieve the objectives of the 2025 Clean Aviation Partnership call to reach at least €950 million. This means that stakeholders from the private sector, such as aerospace industries or research entities, should mobilize an additional €570 million.
