Shaping Europe’s Future: Knowledge Valorisation of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts for Societal Impact and Human-Centred Innovation
The European Commission, in collaboration with Universities Denmark, is organizing a workshop to address complex global challenges through the co-creation among research and innovation actors. The event emphasizes the valorisation of knowledge across disciplinary boundaries to create societal and economic benefits. It highlights the importance of integrating social sciences, arts, and humanities with natural sciences and technological developments to foster human-centred innovation and enhance European competitiveness.
The workshop will feature presentations of best practices, panel discussions, and participant exchanges to explore ways to accelerate the uptake of non-technological research for people, policy, and the market. The event will take place in person at the Nowotny Auditorium, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Brussels, Belgium, on Thursday, 14 November 2024, from 09:00 to 16:00 CET. Participants are encouraged to register early due to limited availability.
