Europe's competitiveness requires placing research and innovation at the center of the economy and accelerating the translation of scientific excellence into successful innovations. Research and technology infrastructures and co-working spaces are often key players of dynamic knowledge ecosystems, where researchers and industry work hand in hand on new solutions.

In this webinar, you will learn about two innovative models for partnering with companies in the field of advanced materials and for preparing clinical validation and navigating regulation in the health sector. The event will be streamed online and on YouTube, and participation does not require registration.

The event will feature presentations from Deirdre Caden, International Engagement Manager at AMBER, and Kurt Gielen, Chief Business Officer at Medace BV, followed by a panel discussion with audience questions via Sli.do.

Explore the repository of best practices on the KV Platform to promote the societal impact of research projects. Examples include the Open Entrepreneurship Platform in Denmark, the Partnership for Cyber Security Innovation in the Netherlands, Collaborative Laboratories in Portugal, and the Industrial PhD Programme in Austria.

The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission will organize a series of online EU Knowledge Valorisation Talks throughout 2025 to showcase inspiring practices that are transforming knowledge into practical solutions.
