ACROSS: A New Data Hub for EU Border Regions

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the Directorate-General for EU Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) are launching the 'Data Hub for EU Border Regions' as part of the ACROSS project. This initiative is part of the Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debates series and aims to provide geospatial data on public transport, healthcare, and cross-border governance.

The event will include a live demonstration of the Data Hub's features, an interactive Q&A session, and discussions on how cross-border data can support policymaking. The ACROSS Data Hub is designed to meet the needs of EU border regions by offering harmonised geospatial data and socioeconomic indicators, empowering policymakers and stakeholders with insights into public transport, healthcare, and governance.

The event will take place online on Thursday, 12 December 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET, and will be conducted in English.
