The Just Transition Platform (JTP) has launched a call for access to JTP Groundwork, a comprehensive technical assistance program providing support and advice to regions benefiting from the Just Transition Fund.
Just Transition Platform: call to increase support for transition regions
Under the Just Transition Mechanism (JTM), the EU mechanism aiming to mobilize around €55 billion from 2021-2027 to ensure the transition to climate neutrality is fair and leaves no region behind, three pillars operate: the Just Transition Fund (JTF), the Just Transition scheme of the InvestEU program, and the Public Sector Loan Facility. To access funding from the JTM, EU member states have prepared, in agreement with the European Commission, the so-called Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTP), which define the use of resources in various territories.
