AWUF 2025 is the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) flagship event dedicated to water and urban development, scheduled to take place from 27-30 May 2025 at the ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. The forum, themed Valuing water and enhancing livability in Asia and the Pacific, aims to gather leaders and experts from various sectors, including communities of practice, representatives from developing member countries (DMCs), and external partners for interactive discussions on vital issues related to water and urban development in the region. This event will feature a unique format that includes master classes, peer-to-peer clinics, debates, and fireside chats, all designed to maximize value for participants. AWUF 2025 will emphasize innovative approaches and progress towards resilience, livability, and equitable outcomes, addressing the challenges faced by the dynamic Asia and Pacific region as it approaches the SDG 2030 deadline. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with a curated exhibition by esteemed institutions such as the University of Oxford and the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation, alongside a variety of external site visits and cultural events. The forum is open to a wide range of participants, including consultants, NGOs, private sector representatives, government officials, and academia, with no participation fee; however, overseas attendees are responsible for their travel expenses. The event is organized by the Strategy and Partnerships Team within the Water and Urban Development Sector Office of ADB.
