The European Migration Network (EMN) Hungary High-Level Presidency Conference on effective return policies is taking place in Budapest, Hungary, on November 25-26, 2024. The conference aims to address the need for a humane and effective return policy within the European Union (EU) to ensure the proper functioning of the migration and asylum system and the Schengen area.

The conference focuses on improving the quality and effectiveness of return procedures for individuals without the legal right to stay in the EU.
