Public Funding for Permanent Carbon Removal in the EU

On 28 January 2025, the Directorate-General for Climate Action of the European Commission is hosting a 1-day event focused on public funding for permanent carbon removal. The event will explore and enhance the financing landscape for climate action, emphasizing instruments supporting permanent carbon removal.

Participants will gain insights into European financing instruments like the Innovation Fund, the European Innovation Council, and Horizon Europe. The event aims to foster dialogue among stakeholders and provide actionable insights to shape more effective financial support for climate goals. Attendance is available both onsite and online.
