Description
Global trade is crucial for manufacturing industries, providing access to resources, markets, and innovative ideas. The current political, economic, and environmental challenges highlight the need for robust and diversified value chains to maximize the EU's single market value. The event will feature speakers such as Mariana Kotzeva, Sabine Weyand, Bernard Magenhann, and Sanjiv Mahajan. Although in-person attendance is by invitation only, the event will be livestreamed.
The Eurostat and JRC's FIGARO tables offer a comprehensive view of the world economy by detailing national GDPs across industrial sectors and products, providing trade data, and including employment, production, consumption, and environmental figures. The 12 Macroeconomic Globalisation indicators will help EU Member States understand their participation in global value chains within the EU and with key global trading partners like China and the United States.
