Driving EU Prosperity: The Future of Knowledge Valorisation

The EU's knowledge valorisation policy aims to accelerate the uptake of research and innovation (R&I) results to realise the full potential of R&I investments for a prosperous Europe. This is crucial for Europe's economic resilience, innovation capacity, strategic autonomy, and societal welfare. The conference will be web streamed and includes discussions on business-academia collaboration, socially responsible licensing, standards for innovation, and citizen science. Insights from the EUIPO and the EPO on the role of academia and SMEs will be shared, along with prize ceremonies. The event is open for in-person or online attendance, free of charge.

The event is part of the EU's efforts to support a thriving valorisation ecosystem, following several policy initiatives and a two-year awareness campaign. It will take stock of dialogues with national stakeholders and discuss future measures.
