Third Annual Conference of the European Commission Legal Service

Join us in Brussels or online to discuss the strategic topic of international sanctions and restrictive measures as well as the critical issue of the relations of EU law and arbitration.

The 3rd annual conference of the European Commission’s Legal Service will take place on 4 April 2025 in Brussels (Charlemagne Building). This high-level event will bring together judges, lawyers, in-house counsel, academics, and other stakeholders to discuss central topics of EU law. The conference will feature keynote speakers and prominent lawyers sharing their insights, and will offer opportunities for networking and informal discussions.

The conference will cover two main topics: the “Law of sanctions” in the context of the aggression of Ukraine by Russia, and “EU law and Arbitration”.

Participants can join in person in Brussels or follow the debates online. The event will be held in English, French, and German.
