The European Commission has adopted the 2025 work programme for the promotion of EU agri-food products. €132 million (compared to nearly €186 million in the 2024 work programme) will be allocated to funding promotional activities within the Union and in non-EU countries through calls starting in January.
The European Commission has already announced the publication date of the 2025 calls for funding EU agri-food product promotion activities in the internal market and third countries, which will be online on January 22.

The goal of the 2025 work programme for the promotion policy is to increase business opportunities for EU farmers and the food industry, enhance awareness of PDO, PGI, and TSG brands, and promote the consumption of sustainable products, particularly organic ones.
