The European program Urbact IV has launched a call to fund new Transfer Networks, enabling European cities to adopt best practices already tested elsewhere. Each partnership will have a budget of 750,000 euros, with an additional potential 120,000 euros for consultancy services. Urbact IV Call for Local Sustainable Urban Development Best Practices

This initiative continues the activities of the European Territorial Cooperation Program supporting cities in adopting sustainable urban development policies.

Here is how Urbact IV works and the activities and calls it promotes.

What is the Urbact IV Program?

Following the three previous editions (Urbact I, Urbact II, and Urbact III), Urbact IV is also a program of European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg) aimed at supporting sustainable urban development policies in cities, co-financed mainly by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Specifically, Urbact IV is part of the Interregional Cooperation to strengthen the effectiveness of Cohesion Policy (Interreg C), promoting the exchange of experiences, innovative approaches, and capacity building related to the identification, transfer, and capitalization of good urban practices in integrated and sustainable development.

Like its predecessors, Urbact IV includes not only the 27 EU countries.
