The European Commission has unveiled the roadmap for the implementation of the New European Bauhaus Facility, a new multi-year funding instrument set to be operational from 2025 to 2027. Towards FP10, the 27 push for an autonomous and ambitious successor to Horizon

The goal: to promote the development of innovative solutions to make neighborhoods more sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful.

The NEB Facility Roadmap, presented on March 26 by the European Executive, is the result of a previous consultation involving over 300 stakeholders discussing the priorities of the new instrument.

According to the New European Bauhaus Facility roadmap, which provides an overview of the objectives, structure, governance, budget, and next steps for implementing the measure in the 2025-2027 biennium, the first calls of the NEB Facility will be launched in 2025.

New European Bauhaus Facility: What It Is and How the Funding Instrument Works

Envisioned by the Horizon Europe strategic plan for 2025-2027, the NEB Facility represents a new European-level funding instrument aimed at supporting urban development through the practical application of the three fundamental values of the New European Bauhaus: aesthetics, sustainability, and inclusion.
