Following the calls for the development of four pilot lines for future chips, the Semiconductors Joint Undertaking (Chips Joint Undertaking) has recently launched the first tranche of a new round of calls for the development of semiconductors and microelectronics in Europe. These are two calls worth 120 million euros, which aim to create a network of Chips Competence Centres across Europe to facilitate access by SMEs and start-ups to the infrastructures funded by the Joint Undertaking, starting with the four pilot lines selected in recent months, one of which is planned in our country. Two other calls will follow in the coming weeks.
