Restricted call for proposals: opportunity for Interreg Europe projects from the first call to request pilot actions. Objective The call is an opportunity for Interreg Europe first call projects to request one or more pilot actions after their midterm review. Pilot actions can supplement the exchange of experience activities and help the project partners improve their regional policies. Appilicants This call is open to the 72 first call projects that were approved by the Interreg Europe monitoring committee on 13 December 2022. Pilot actions must take place in the partner regions represented in the project. It is not possible to involve an additional region. However, the integration of an additional partner can be proposed if its participation is essential for the implementation of the pilot action in the region. Eligible actions Although ‘traditional’ exchange of experience activities should remain the core focus of any Interreg Europe project, these activities may not always be sufficient to improve policies. In justified cases, they can therefore be supplemented with more operational activities based on a ‘learning by doing’ approach.
