The 2024 European Research Council Work Programme is expected to be formally adopted in July 2023, as usual, but this year ERC scientific council has introduced some changes in the evaluation forms and processes for the next calls. Let’s see what will be different and what you’ll have to expect.
The European Research Council (ERC) offers grants to top researchers from all parts of the world who are willing to come or stay in Europe to pursue their pioneering scientific and technological discoveries that can form the basis of future industries, markets, and social innovations.
Over the period 2021-2027, ERC is allocated more than 16 billion euros from the new Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, a 22% increase over Horizon 2020.
Significant novelties in the 2024 ERC Work programme
