The assignment includes sector analysis and institutional capacity building for provision of urban services.
The first phase of the Mandalay Urban Services Improvement Project, co-financed by Asian Development Bank, became effective on 19 April 2017. It addresses part of the core urban problems and binding constraints of Manadalay City through:
- improved water supply systems,
- improved wastewater and drainage management,
- strengthened capacity for urban services management.
