The Ministry of Agricultural Development of Nepal has received funds from the World Bank towards the cost of a project for agriculture commercialization and trade, and intends to use part of the proceeds for technical assistance services.
The main objective of the assignment is to promote implementing and monitoring project activities that contribute to achieving the project development aims.
The scope of the project includes:
- agriculture and rural business development. The component aims to enable farmers to engage in profitable market-oriented production and to promote partnerships and market linkages with other value chain participants and agribusinesses.
