These are some of the recommendations put in writing by the EIC Board regarding the involvement of consultants by companies aiming for EIC funding.

Starting from the premise that the Board of the European Innovation Council (this is the Italian name for the European Innovation Council, EIC) is completely agnostic regarding the involvement or not of consultants for drafting project proposals submitted to EIC calls, the Council highlights that EIC tools are designed not to require external assistance for the applicant company.

However, since many of the companies and startups applying for access to EIC tools are not familiar with such procedures, and often these entities do not have specialized staff and/or the ability to specialize in this area, the use of external consultants can be helpful.
