Interreg VI-A Greece-Italy (GR-IT) Programme 2021-2027: Terms of Reference of the 1st Call for Project Proposals. Update: Official launch of Stage B - 10.09.2024 Context of the call The 1st Call for Project Proposals intends to select high quality cross-border projects, in which relevant institutions cooperate to make border regions more resilient to common challenges, find shared solutions in fields such as environment, research, education, transport, sustainable energy, tourism, health and more, and to exploit the untapped growth potential in border areas, while enhancing the cooperation process for the purposes of the overall harmonious development of the Union. Applicants a) national, regional or local public bodies b) bodies governed by public law (as defined in Article 2(4) of Directive 2014/24/EU) c) bodies governed by private law, non-profit organisations founded according to private law d) international organisations registered under the national law of the Member States of the Programme e) European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) As a minimum requirement, the project partnership must involve 2 partners, at least one from each Member State.
