EUCAD 2025: 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving
The 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD 2025) will bring together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to take stock of the latest advancements and address the challenges of cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM) deployment in Europe.
EUCAD 2025 is organised by the European Commission jointly with the European Partnership on CCAM and the FAME project.
Automation in road transport is pivotal for advancing the European Commission's key policy priorities of greening and digitalising our societies, industries and economies. Recent years have seen significant progress in Europe, with automated solutions supported by landmark regulatory frameworks such as the EU Automated Driving Systems Regulation already emerging at scale.
However, further large-scale testing, demonstrations and collaboration among stakeholders are essential to accelerate implementation and overcome barriers, ensuring a seamless transition to CCAM. As we move towards large-scale demonstrations by 2030, we must continue to advance the technology readiness and maturity of CCAM solutions to capitalise on the R&I results achieved so far under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.
At EUCAD 2025, thought leaders will share their insights on the challenges and opportunities surrounding the development and deployment of CCAM solutions, with contributions from international speakers offering global perspectives. The conference will feature thematic sessions with interactive panel discussions, ensuring active audience participation and a rich exchange of ideas.
