The EIT HEI Initiative is organising a series of online info sessions to present the Call for Proposals 2024 in more detail and answer applicants’ questions.
The webinars will cover different topics, and each webinar will build on the previous one.
Session 1: Overview of EIT HEI Initiative Call for Proposals 2024

This initial webinar will provide a big picture overview of the EIT HEI Initiative Call for Proposals 2024, before diving into specific elements in later sessions.
Session 2: Introduction to HEInnovate
7 October 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CEST
This webinar will be delivered by the team that coordinate the HEInnovate self-assessment tool. Join this session to learn more about the tool and how to use it.
Session 3: MEL Framework and the Impact Domains and Actions
8 October 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CEST
This session provides an overview of the impact framework for the EIT HEI Initiative, going through the 5 impact ‘domains’ within that framework and the associated funded ‘actions’ that applying consortia can choose to focus their Innovation Vision Action Plan around. All of the above fits within the EIT HEI Initiative’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework, which will be introduced during the webinar.
Season 4: Application Expectations and the IVAP
9 October 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CEST
This Info Session will take potential applicants through expectations of Part A and Part B of the IVAP, and will provide a demo of the EIT HEI Initiative Application Portal.
Session 5: KPI Expectations
15 October 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CEST
This session will take you through the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) expectations for the EIT HEI Initiative Call for Proposals 2024, providing concrete examples and explaining target breakdowns.
Session 6: Role and opportunities for previous EIT HEI Initiative participants
17 October 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CEST
This webinar is exclusively for previous full partners of an EIT HEI Initiative cohort (i.e. cohorts 1 – 3). It will focus on the required Innovation and Entrepreneurship Pioneer role of previous partners, as well as further opportunities for previous partners, namely the EIT HEI Initiative Alumni and the EIT HEI Initiative Community of Practice.
Session 7: Applying to Strand B: I+E for the enhancement of deep tech
29 October 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CET
This webinar will dive into Strand B of the EIT HEI Initiative Call for Proposals 2024, including a presentation from the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative.
Session 8: Open Q&A session
5 November 2024, 3pm-4.30pm CET
This Q&A Session will have an open-floor format, in which participants can unmute their microphones and ask any unanswered questions they have regarding the EIT HEI Initiative Call for Proposals 2024.
