Policy Panel on Global Supply Chain Reallocation
The European Commission is organizing a Policy Panel on Global Supply Chain Reallocation, scheduled for Thursday, 21 November 2024, from 10:30 to 12:00 CET in Brussels, Belgium. The event will be held in a hybrid format, with a link provided five days prior to the event upon registration.
The panel will address the challenges impacting global supply chains, including geopolitical tensions, and the economic and social costs associated with these disruptions. Discussions will focus on aligning private business goals with public interests, reducing risks, building resilience, and the necessary public policy actions to support these efforts.
Panelists include Rebecca Christie from Bruegel, Jorge Sicilia from BBVA, Philippe Adriaenssens from the European Round Table, Marion Jansen from the OECD, Sven Smit from McKinsey Global Institute, and Román Arjona from DG GROW.
The event is organized by the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.
