Changing tasks, changing skill set – Adapting to the age of AI in translation

AI-based tools have significantly changed the work of translators, training institutions, and Language Service Providers (LSPs). This event will discuss the newly needed skills and best practices for adapting to the age of AI. It will be held in person and online, with registration required for in-person participants. The event will take place on Thursday, 20 March 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00 (CET) at ELTE University in Budapest, Hungary. The event is part of the Translating Europe Workshops and will be conducted in Hungarian and English. It is aimed at academia, students, and freelancers.
