The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) are hosting an info day on 17 and 18 December 2024. The event will present the key features and award criteria of the upcoming Innovation Fund 2024 Call (IF24 Call) and the Innovation Fund 2024 Battery call (IF24 Battery). The IF24 Call has allocated €2.4 billion for projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in sectors such as cleantech manufacturing, maritime, renewables, energy storage, and energy-intensive industries. The IF24 Battery Call has designated €1 billion for electric-vehicles battery cell manufacturing projects. The application window for both calls will remain open until April 2025. Participants can engage in Q&A sessions via Slido using #IF24Call, and presentations will be available online after the event.
The event will be held online with live streaming available, starting on Tuesday 17 December 2024 at 09:30 CET and ending on Wednesday 18 December 2024 at 13:30 CET. The programme includes sessions on general provisions, GHG calculation methodology, cost calculation, project development assistance, and award criteria for both calls. The event aims to provide insights into best practices and lessons learned from previous calls.
