ADB-Bangladesh Business Opportunities Seminar 2025

The Bangladesh Resident Mission (BRM) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) hosts the annual Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS), which is a key event for suppliers, contractors, consultants, and businesses from both Bangladesh and abroad to explore various business opportunities related to ADB-financed projects and private sector operations. Scheduled for 28 April 2025 at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka, the seminar will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The BOS serves as a strategic platform to highlight approximately $3 billion in uncontracted business opportunities under ADB projects, while also providing updates on recent changes in bidding procedures and expert guidance for preparing competitive bids. This year, the seminar will focus on opportunities within ADB’s private sector operations and public-private partnerships in Bangladesh, facilitating networking among stakeholders to maximize the potential of ADB offerings. Participants will engage in discussions with ADB specialists on topics such as procurement policies, recent bidding changes, and the benefits of working on ADB-financed projects. The target audience includes consultants, contractors, suppliers, civil society organizations, government officials, and personnel from development partners.
