The MABIS project is a key component of OECD and EU efforts to monitor and assess research and innovation policies, providing more comprehensive and outcome-oriented evidence through:

Building on the recent results of the initial phase of MABIS, the workshop will outline new directions for the analysis of public support for innovation, informing future OECD work to consolidate and extend the OECD measurement and analytical work on government support for innovation. Examples of this new direction for the MABIS project include dedicated analysis of government support for green innovation through different data sources and methods, as well as the development of guidance for conducting quantitative impact evaluation work.
