The Inequality Marker (“I-Marker”) is a concrete and innovative tool used by the European Commission to support its overarching objective of “addressing inequalities by building inclusive and sustainable societies”. The I-Marker will enable the Commission to better understand, track and benchmark the impact of its actions across all sectors on inequalities.
Why is the I-Marker important? How does it work? What are the first lessons learnt from its roll-out, including in the context of Global Gateway?
