The Support service for citizen-led renovation projects is collaborating with the EU-funded LIFE Programme project RENOVERTY to organise a webinar on 21 October 2024, from 10:30 to 12:00. The webinar will focus on empowering communities and assisting households in energy renovations to reduce energy demand and emissions. It will showcase best practices of energy communities working towards the Fit-for-55 goals across various geographic settings.

The session will include discussions on the benefits, barriers, and future opportunities of energy communities in the EU. It will be moderated by Mara Oprea from IEECP, with keynote speeches and presentations from various experts, including Julien Tami, Stephanie Dickenson, Mihail Georgiev, Raquel Rodriguez Martinez, and Sophie Loots.
