On May 13 will open the third call of the European transnational cooperation programme Interreg Alpine Space. A total of €27.8 million is available for cooperation projects focused on environmental protection, circular economy, and digitalization.

Implementing the European Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), the Interreg Alpine Space 2021-2027 programme promotes economic, social, and environmental cooperation in the Alpine regions of the seven participating countries: Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Slovenia, France, Germany, and Italy.
What does the Interreg Alpine Space programme fund?
The Interreg Alpine Space programme – adopted by the European Commission in May 2022 – has a budget of over €142.7 million for the 2021-2027 period, of which €107 million comes from the ERDF, the European Regional Development Fund, and €35.6 million from national co-financing.
