EU seeks experts for Horizon Europe calls in the health sector

The European Commission is seeking independent professionals to serve as evaluators for calls related to Cluster 1 of Horizon Europe, which is dedicated to health. The profiles sought include not only experts in medicine and diseases but also professionals active in other areas such as artificial intelligence. Guide to the Critical Medicines Act

The specific agency relaunching the selection of expert evaluators is the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).

Referring to the usual EU Commission's expert database, HaDEA emphasizes that the Horizon Europe health cluster calls to be evaluated are those for the biennium 2025-2027.

How to Become a Horizon Europe Expert 

Regarding the profiles sought, there are ten fields of expertise for which the Agency is seeking professionals. These include sectors and areas closely related to the health sector. We are talking primarily about experts in the field of Diseases, which HaDEA further details: metabolic disorders (rare), rare diseases, neuroscience, psychiatry, clinical psychology, mental health, neurology, epidemiology, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), infectious diseases, pandemic preparedness, public health, digital health.
