With investment tickets that can reach up to 2.5 million euros per project, the EIT RawMaterials has launched a call active until early September as part of the European Raw Materials Alliance. The incentives are aimed at startups and scaleups with technologies capable of revolutionizing the sector.
The specific call is the ERMA Booster Call. A funding opportunity with a budget ranging from 16 to 30 million euros, managed by the KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Communities) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) dedicated to raw materials and advanced materials.
The European Raw Materials Alliance
The EIT RawMaterials has been entrusted with the management, on behalf of the European Commission, of the European Raw Materials Alliance (ERMA): the EU Alliance in the field of raw materials tasked with making Europe economically more resilient by diversifying its supply chains, creating jobs, attracting investments in the raw materials value chain, promoting innovation, training young talents, and contributing to the best enabling framework for raw materials and the circular economy globally.
