EU: Call for Expressions of Interest to Reconstruct Ukraine

This is the goal of the call for expressions of interest launched by Brussels during the first EU-Ukraine Investment Conference, currently taking place in Warsaw.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Europe and its member states have provided Ukraine with nearly €122 billion in financial, humanitarian, and military assistance to meet the needs of the affected population. According to Brussels estimates, the conflict has caused over €270 billion in damages as of February 24, 2023, and reconstruction costs are estimated at €384 billion.

In this context, the European Commission has launched a new "Call for expressions of interest" to mobilize investments from EU businesses in strategic areas such as critical raw materials, energy, transport, and logistics, supporting Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction.
