The EU Commission has signed an agreement with Goethe-Institut – a German linguistic organisation promoting the German language and culture all over the world – to implement a new scheme for artists and cultural professionals under the new “Culture Moves Europe” action.
Content of the agreement
With a budget of 21 million euros over the next three years, the new settlement will allow around 7.000 artists, creators and cultural professionals to:
- go abroad for international collaborations or professional development
- present their works to new audiences
- co-produce and co-create
A new permanent action under the Creative Europe's Culture strand
“Culture moves Europe” will become a permanent action under the Creative Europe programme, a European Commission's flagship programme provided with a budget of 2.44 billion euros
