The 15-page document published on February 12 by the European Commission serves as the basis for discussions between EU institutions and stakeholders on the next EU multiannual budget. This discussion also involves a series of public consultations launched by the Commission, the establishment of a panel of 150 citizens, and the launch of an online platform. The goal is to present the legislative proposal for the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) by July, which is set to come into effect on January 1, 2028.
