European Renewable Energy Funds: CEF Energy call guide for cross-border RES projects

After the calls to realize studies and works in the field of renewable energy (which are still open), Brussels is launching a new call to obtain the cross-border renewable energy project’s status, which will allow the entrance in the list of eligible projects for funding under the Connecting Europe Facility 2021-27.
In addition to supporting investments in trans-European energy networks, the CEF Energy as of 2021 also finances cross-border renewable energy production projects. It is a matter of a great innovation compared to the previous Connecting Europe Facility programming, a component that alone accounts for about 15% of the CEF Energy budget.
