Horizon Europe: a number of novelties introduced by a new work programme

As the EU flagship programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe will allocate 13.5 billion euros for a number of actions supporting the green and digital transitions to which the European Union has committed itself, as well as the EU security, its resilience and a sustainable recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic.
In light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and its impact, the new 2023-2024 work programme will focus on reducing energy- and other dependencies and building a more robust economic base.
